Center for Counseling & Support

The Student Counseling and Support Center’s staff individually assists students who are struggling with academic and/or emotional problems. The purpose of counseling is to help students who are facing challenges to identify the reasons for their distress and to help them to find solutions, while working together with the faculties and other entities on and off campus.

The senter’s staff are from the fields of educational counseling, learning disabilities, social work, and psychology. The team has extensive professional training and many years of experience.

Conversations with students are kept discreet and are tailored to the specific problems that each student is facing.

Additionally, the center runs a number of programs to promote equal opportunities for students from the periphery, ultra-Orthodox students, and students from the Arab community. These programs aim to facilitate students’ adjustment to the Technion. The programs include both personal and academic assistance.
