This place reminds me of a habit I developed during my undergraduate years: responding to all of those random emails sent to students offering a lecture, a project, or an interesting activity. Far too many times I found myself entering auditoriums, filled to the brim with people I didn’t know, who talked about things I knew nothing about. I went on to join crazy projects, met awesome friends, and even traveled abroad more than once! It all started with one email, and a meeting in an auditorium, like this one. It’s worth mentioning that some of those meetings were a complete failure, but that’s part of the fun.
