Registration for Continuing Students

Applying for dormitories will be through an online application on the portal.

We have received inquiries from students whose dormitory applications they have filled out are not being sent.

After a comprehensive examination , it turns out that the problem is with the name under which the document is saved.

Such situations occur because the document is blocked for security reasons, which prevents documents that have been found to be threat from entering the Technion network.

Below is the instruction to follow in these cases –

Open the documents in Word and re-save as a PDF file with a new name, then submit the application with the documents under the new name.

For example, do not upload documents that contain the word document in their name.

The registration period will be extended until Tuesday, May 6, 2025, inclusive.

Dormitory Registration – Summer Semester 2024-2025
Registration Period: June 3, 2025 – June 5, 2025
Registration Guidelines:

  • Current dormitory residents who wish to remain in their existing room/apartment over the summer may do so unless they receive a notice from the Dormitory Complex Office regarding relocation due to renovations or summer conferences.
  • Residents who wish to transfer to a different dormitory, as well as students who wish to enter the dormitories in the summer, must indicate their top 3 preferred dormitory locations.
  • Couples and families who live in the dorms and wish to stay in the summer – can stay. No registration is required.
  • Couples and families who live in the dorms and wish to move to another apartment in the dorms – need to register this form https://forms.office.com/r/Ni2QWL32Rx
  • Couples and families who live in the dorms and wish to leave – need to send an email with identifying details including the dorm address to: couples@technion.ac.il and leave by 21.8.25

Single Students – registration must be completed via the form: https://forms.office.com/r/JkaeK4Rr3X
Single students should select dormitory options based on the number of academic credit points they have accumulated at the time of application, according to the following breakdown:
Up to 20 credit points: Lower Campus (Rifkin), Single Tenant Room in Lower Campus, HaAmim, Senate (2 per room), Senate Renovated (designated for current residents only).
21-50 credit points: Canada, Eastern Village, Neve America.
51-80 credit points: New Eastern Village, Junior Faculty (Segel Zutar).
81 credit points and above: Undergraduate Village (Kfar Hasmacha), Broshim, Senate Renovated (designated for current residents only).

Additional Registration Information:
•Responses to dormitory requests will be sent via email within two weeks after registration period ends.
•Dormitory assignments are subject to availability.
Important Dates:
1.Spring Semester Move-Out – By August 21, 2025, in coordination with the building supervisor at least 3 days in advance.
2.Summer Semester Move-In and Complex Transfers for the Summer Semester – August 25, 2025, between 9:00am – 2:00pm. Key pickup will be at the Dormitory Complex Office.
3.Summer Semester Move-Out – By September 30, 2025.
4.Continuing into the Winter Semester – Students who reside in the dorms over the summer and are found eligible for dormitory housing for the 2025-2026 Winter Semester may continue living in the dorms without interruption. However, please note that a transfer to a different apartment within the same complex or to a different dormitory complex may be required, depending on the Winter Semester placement decision.
