Dormitories can only be requested after formal admission to the Technion.
Students who are not residents of Haifa or the surrounding areas can apply for dormitory until June 30th
Students who are residents of Haifa or the surrounding areas (for a list of regions in Haifa’s surroundings) and former students are to fill out an application form and attach the required documents.
After June 30th, students are to complete the dormitory application form and attach the required documents. The response will be dependent on socioeconomic criteria and space availability.
New students in their first semester will receive dorms in Rifkin Village (Tachton) or Amim.
New soldier-students (Atudaim) who are not residents of Haifa or the surrounding areas, and who are admitted to the Technion by October 9th, can apply for dormitory housing when registering for the Technion or through the portal.
New soldier-students (Atudaim) who are residents of Haifa or the surrounding areas (for a list of regions in Haifa’s surroundings), or soldier-students (Atudaim) who are admitted to the Technion after October 9th, can apply for dormitory housing on the portal and their eligibility will be examined on the basis of socioeconomic criteria and space availability.
Students accepted to the medical school, who are not residents of Haifa or the surrounding areas (for a list of regions in Haifa’s surroundings) and who are admitted to the Technion by September 10th, can apply for dormitory housing when registering for the Technion or through the portal.
Students accepted to the medical school, who are residents of Haifa or the surrounding areas and who are admitted to the Technion by September 10th, can apply for dormitory housing on the portal and their eligibility will be examined on the basis of socioeconomic criteria and space availability.

For the Spring Semester
Dormitories can only be requested after formal admission to the Technion.
New students who are residents of Haifa or the surrounding areas (for a list of regions in Haifa’s surroundings) – are to complete the form by the deadline posted on the website.
This includes students who have previously studied, or are beginning to study, in a different faculty or are returning to the same faculty.
New students who are not residents of Haifa or the surrounding areas will be registered immediately upon admission to the Technion Until the end of January, through the registration in the portal.
After these dates, students are to complete an applications will be considered on the basis of space availability.
New students in their first semester will receive dorms in Rifkin Village (Tachton) or Amim.
