What's Expected of a Buddy?

📌 Orientation: Help new students settle in by guiding them through campus, showing them facilities, and answering their questions.

🗣️ Communication: Be a friendly point of contact – provide advice, tips, and lend an ear when they want to share their experiences.

🤗 Social Integration: Include them in your social activities, introduce them to your friends, and participate in buddy events (2-3 social events specifically designed for this group organized by the Dean of Students Office, Student Exchange Unit)

🗓️ Time Commitment: The buddy commitment is for one semester. You decide how much time you can dedicate, and the experience you gain will be invaluable.

Interview: Attend a brief interview session to understand your role and responsibilities. After that, we will select the suitable candidates and publish results.

Matching: We’ll match you with an international student based on common interests and compatibility.
