HEC Paris PhD Block Seminars

HEC School of Management invites PhD students to the upcoming HEC Paris PhD Block Seminars in spring/summer 2026. The intensive, on-site sessions (held at the Jouy-en-Josas campus) bring together PhD students from around the world and HEC doctoral candidates for engaging discussions on cutting-edge research topics.

The students will join highly selective groups (max. 15 participants) in seminars such as:

  • Corporate Purpose: Defining and researching it (April 13–16, 2026) with Professor Rodolphe Durand
  • Institutional Analysis: Individuals, Organizations, and Societies (June 15–19, 2026) with Professor Patricia Thornton
  • Marketing Strategy (June 17–19, 2026) with Professor Anatoli Colicev
  • A First Course in Accounting Theory (June 29–July 3, 2026) with Professor Jeremy Bertomeu.

The Technion students benefit from a special 50% discount, paying only 450 EUR in tuition instead of the standard rate of 900 EUR.

TU Darmstadt International Summer University 2026

We are delighted to announce the Hessen: International Summer University (ISU) 2026 at TU Darmstadt.

The program will take place between May 18 and 30 June 2026. It will begin with a virtual phase from 18 – 31 May, followed by an on-site phase in Darmstadt from 1 – 30 June 2026.

Students can look forward to an engaging blend of academic courses, German language learning, and cultural experiences – including company visits and unique excursions. This program provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical insights while experiencing German culture first-hand.

We are offering two academic tracks, each worth 6 ECTS. Students can choose from the following:

  1. Mechanical Engineering
  2. Electrical Engineering

Students can earn a total of 12 ECTS by combining these with German language and culture courses, which are also worth 6 ECTS in total.

Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) Free Credit-Bearing Online Courses for Spring 26

We are excited to share that SKKU is launching a new online program offering three free, credit-bearing courses for the Spring Semester 2026.
These courses are taught by distinguished SKKU faculty and delivered through recorded online lectures.
Each course consists of 15 hours of instruction, carries 1 SKKU credit, and is offered in a fully self-paced format.
Through this program, participating students will have the opportunity to take the same courses offered to SKKU students, while gaining academic and cultural exposure to SKKU and Korea.

Courses Offered

  1. Korean Starter Pack : Hangul, Pronunciation, and Basic Expressions
    Professor Kim, Kyoung Hwon (English subtitles available)
    Students will learn how to read and write Hangeul accurately while gaining insight into Korean culture through related stories and real-life examples. The course also focuses on basic pronunciation and essential everyday expressions used in common situations. Through practical dialogues in both formal and informal contexts, learners will develop foundational communication skills for expressing themselves on everyday topics in Korean.
  1. Inside K-Culture : Hallyu (K-wave), Media, and Storytelling
    Professor Byun, Daniel H (English subtitles available)
    This course explores K-culture and Hallyu through the lens of media, storytelling, and transmedia content in a globally connected world. Students will examine how storytelling functions as a core element of popular culture, marketing, and media industries, adding cultural and economic value across multiple platforms. By the end of the course, learners will gain a deeper understanding of how narratives shape media experiences and how storytelling can be applied creatively in everyday and professional contexts.
  1. Mathematics for AI : Math behind AI – from Basics to Hands-on Coding
    Professor Lee, Sanggu (English subtitles available)
    This course introduces the fundamental mathematics and basic algorithms required to understand artificial intelligence. Designed for beginners, the course covers essential mathematical concepts in an accessible way. Learners will apply these concepts through hands-on coding exercises, gaining practical experience alongside theoretical understanding. Students will have a solid foundation for further study in AI and data-related fields.

The NTU Plus Academy offers a variety of topic-based short-term programs, designed to provide international students with diverse learning experiences and meaningful opportunities to engage with different cultural perspectives. 64th Graduate Study Programme at UN Geneva

We are pleased to inform you that The 64th Graduate Study Programme (GSP) will be held at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, Switzerland from 29 June to 10 July 2026, under the theme “AI and Emerging Technologies: Realities, Risks and Opportunities”. This intensive two-week summer seminar will consist of lectures, presentations, work in groups, and visits to institutions, with the objective of providing students with insights into the work of the United Nations and “International Geneva” in the rapidly evolving field of AI and new technologies.

The seminar is open to all currently enrolled graduate students, age 22-32, who are not employed full time and who are fluent in both written and spoken English. The applicants will be screened on the basis of their academic success, extracurricular or professional activities, motivation statements, and recommendation letters. Every effort will be made to ensure equitable gender and regional representation. Decisions by the Selection Committee are final, and no individual feedback will be provided, given the large volume of applications.

The application process is open from 5 December 2025 until 20 February 2026 (12 noon Geneva time). Applications by candidates who do not meet the criteria, late or incomplete applications will not be considered. All applicants will be informed of the results in the first week of April 2026.

SJTU Summer Research Internship (July 13 – Aug. 23, 2026)

In 2026, SJTU is offering 204 world-class research projects for overseas undergraduate students which cover 24 fields including mechanical engineering, electronic information and electronic engineering, agriculture and pharmacy, etc. The internship lasts six weeks. All students admitted will be waived of tuition fees. Students can have the chance to attend in the paper-writing process and serve as a co-author on one publication. The summer research internship will help students lay the foundation for their careers. Start early and prepare carefully: finding a good summer internship will be worth your time and effort.
