Course Recommendations: The level of courses was lower than at Technion, but there was a strong emphasis on practical experience and project work.
Social Life: The university has a great gym, and several bars on campus host events every evening. Many international students create a vibrant social atmosphere, with plenty of opportunities to meet and enjoy activities together, such as visiting food markets and museums.
Message to Future Students: Embrace the experience and don’t be afraid to stand out as the only one from Technion; being open-minded will enrich your experience. Feel free to reach out to me regarding the exchange.

Student’s Feedback:
Academic Feedback: Studying at DTU was a very positive and eye-opening experience. The university places innovation, teamwork, sustainability, and student wellbeing at the center. We had access to workshops, 3D printers, laser cutters, labs, and countless resources, all free and actively encouraged. Professors and staff provide a supportive environment that combines trust with high standards, creating space for independence and creativity. This atmosphere allowed me to take initiative, develop new skills, and work with talented students from different disciplines.
Campus Life, Activities, Culture, etc.: Living in Copenhagen itself was equally inspiring. The city is vibrant yet calm, beautifully designed for people, bicycles, and community life. Sustainability is not just a slogan but a way of living, visible in every aspect of the city and its university. This context reinforced my own values as a future architect. collaboration, environmental responsibility, and the power of design to shape healthier communities.
This exchange strengthened my professional identity, sharpened my ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, and expanded my perspective on how architecture interacts with technology and culture. It also deepened my confidence in my own initiative and creativity, both as a student and as a future architect.
General Feedback:
my semester at DTU was one of the most meaningful experiences of my studies so far. It gave me professional skills, cultural insights, and personal growth that I will carry into my career. I am grateful to the Technion and the Dean’s Scholarship for making it possible to take part in this journey, and to DTU for welcoming me into its inspiring academic community.
Message to Future Students: I would recommend making sure in advance that course credits and requirements are clearly aligned between the home and host universities. Although i’m sure that everything eventually will work out, it required some extra coordination. Beyond that, the exchange offers an unparalleled opportunity to grow, explore, and experience a truly international academic environment.
